About the Cover
On the cover, depiction of proteolytic events associated with an adhesive protein complex that facilitates cell invasion by the intracellular protozoan Toxoplasma gondii. Mass spectrometric analysis of the complex revealed that it is modified by several enzymes including an intramembrane protease responsible for surface shedding.
