About the Cover
On the cover, a series of fluorescence micrographs depicting the localization of novel proteins to dendritic spines of cultured neurons. Jordan et al. used mass spectrometry to identify 452 proteins from rodent postsynaptic densities, suggesting unexpected complexity for this cytoskeletal specialization.
