On the cover, human mitotic spindles were purified from synchronized cells and investigated by mass spectrometry. A selection of identified proteins was then transiently expressed in HeLa S3 cells and analyzed by immunofluorescence microscopy. The left panel shows (top to bottom): C20Orfl29, KIAA0008/HURP, and CdcA8/Borealin/Dasra.
