About the Cover
On the cover, the horizonal and vertical axes in the cover image correspond to a series of mass spectra from LC-MS experiments of related yeast samples. Bright red represents optimal alignments between the two experiments. The narrow path in the upper right region indicates a robust alignment between parts of the two experiments. Nonlinearities in the path expose relative temporal variations in column speed. For details, see the article by Prakash et al., pages 423–432.
