An Institutional Online Subscription authorizes use at one location. For organizations with more than one campus or more than one office, each office or campus is considered a different site and each requires a separate subscription to MCP Online.

For example, each campus in the State University of New York system is considered a different site, and each branch or office of UpJohn Laboratories is considered a different site and each requires a separate subscription to MCP Online.

Ordering Procedure

Subscribing to MCP Online is a 2 step process:

First, you must follow your usual "new serial" ordering procedures to subscribe, ISSN 1535-9476 (print) 1535-9484 (online). Alternatively, you can order directly from ASBMB. Payment should be made to your subscription agent or directly to:

Second, once your serial vendor or the ASBMB has received payment, you will receive an email with instructions for obtaining access to www.mcponline.org. Therefore, you must provide an email address with your order. The activation letter will direct you to an online form where you will be asked to provide the following information necessary to activate your institutional subscription to MCP Online:

• Institution's IP Address(es)
  [CRITICAL INFORMATION ABOUT IP ADDRESSES -- READ THIS]
• Contact name, title, phone, fax, and email
• Customer number (included with the activation letter)

We will email you the address of this web form and instructions for filling it out after we have processed your payment. Your institution will not have access to the full MCP Online until you complete this second step.
